Our Past and Present
History.
DESCON company was founded in 1989 by a group of experienced designers of designing offices in Warsaw: Office of Studies and Projects ENEGOPROJEKT, Office of Project for Healthcare, Project Office CUKROPROJEKT.
As one of the first privately owned designing offices we have dealt with mainly industrial studies: construction hospitals, residential areas, commercial stores, halls and warehouses, etc.
Today.
We have achieved the number of more than 500 studies and project-related design. The most important works in recent years, can be viewed in our gallery.
Our stuff is now 15 people: one district building expert, three licensed designers, four licensed designers to-be, assisting designers and technicians.
We are proud of long lasting, successful cooperation with approximately 30 offices and studios of architecture. For many of them we are the first choice designer.
In addition to designing DESCON activities include: value engineering, project evaluation and repair programs of existing buildings. We also do technical consulting and value engineering for the designed and implemented investment. We prepare the conditions and designs for modernization or expansion of existing facilities.
We review the development of other Project Offices, mainly in terms of safety and economics.
Throughout the duration of the design objects we run author supervisions.
We are proud of our high efficiency in the optimization of design solutions and thus reduce the cost of the investment while maintaining full security.
We achieve the successful restoration of "technical efficiency" to existing facilities by:
• detailed and in-depth examination of buildings and their geological environment
• assessing the degree of wear of load-bearing structural elements of the building
• properly run diagnosing the reasons and factors of damages,
• analysis of the effects resulting from the damage and develop methods of repair,
• control of repair work.
